A New Me

Well, hello there! According to my (always) lack of posts in the blog let's just say that a this is becoming pretty common in here. I hate not having time for all the things I want to do, there's no enough hours during the day! And even though I try to keep my calendar as it is I always end up changing something (for a good reason) and the rest of the week goes to hell.
 Anyways, last weekend I did a photoshoot with the one and only @ChayMgx. We did many looks (that I wanted to shared with you since a really long time ago) so I can upload more often in here.
This outfit was my favorite yet the most frightening to wear because since I became a mom I hate showing my "not so sixpack" belly; I feel like my body changed a lot and I don't feel really comfortable wearin revealing clothes but after seeing how the shoot end up I think I should throw those feelings/thoughts to the trash and reevaluate my self image, because probably I'm not going to look like I used to but I can be the best of who I am right now.


Oh hola tu! De acuerdo a mi  (siempre) falta de publicaciones en mi blog digamos que esto se esta volviendo muy común por aquí. Detesto no tener tiempo para hacer todas las cosas que quiero hacer, no hay suficientes horas en el día! Y aun así trate de apegarme a mi calendario siempre termino cambiando algo en el (por una buena razón) y el resto de la semana se va a la m*erda.
Como sea, el fin de semana pasado hice una sesión de fotos con el único @ChayMgx. Fotografiamos muchos looks (que quería enseñarles desde hace mucho tiempo) así podré postear mas seguido aquí.
Este outfit fue mi favorito y también el mas aterrador de usar porque desde que me volví madre, no me gusta enseñar mi "no tan marcado" abdomen; Siento que mi cuerpo cambio demasiado y no me siento muy cómoda usando ropa reveladora pero después de ver como salieron las fotos creo que debería de tirar esos sentimientos/pensamientos a la basura y revaluar mi auto imagen, porque probablemente no vuelva a verme como antes pero puedo ser lo mejor de lo que soy ahora.

denim on denim

This photoshoot from last month in San Cristobal, only showed me that I really need to stop touching my f*cking hair in pictures!! Is really annoying to come home with millions of pictures of me doing the same thing...arrhhgg!

In other stories, this trench coat was my best friend during the trip and I still don't know why I didn't wear it before, Oh wait! I know! I live in a extremely hot place..duh! Anyways, this was a great excuse to take it out from my "treasures chest" (back in 2002) and work it. Thank God the denim on denim trend came back before I start looking like a crazy hoarder.

Esta sesión de fotos que tome el mes pasado en San Cristobal, solo me enseño que realmente debo de dejar de tocarme el p*nche cabello para las fotos!! Es realmente molesto llegar a casa y tener un millón de fotos haciendo la misma cosa...aarrhhhggg!

En otras historias, esta gabardina fue mi mejor aliada durante el viaje y todavía no se porque no la use antes, Espera! Si lo se! Vivo en un lugar extremadamente caluroso...duh! De igual manera, esta fue una buena excusa para sacarla de mi "baúl de los tesoros" (desde 2002) y lucirla. Gracias a Dios la mezclilla sobre mezclilla volvió a ser una moda antes de que empezara a parecer una loca acaparadora.

state of mind

Just when I think my schedule is perfectly planned, something happens! 

Lately I've been extremely busy with new projects, like I told you in my last post -here- (Some of them are for the blog and the others are for my youtube channel #fabitapunk); Which is absolutely amazing, but it kind of makes me feel anxious and scared of not being available to accomplish them all.

Aside of my web life (as some of you may know) in my real life I'm a professional chef; I don't work at a restaurant but I own a bakery shop #KawaiiShopMx and fortunately we're doing great right now, which means a lot of time spent in the kitchen.

Also, in other news recently I was hired by a model agency in my city and that means I'm going to be traveling a little bit more. Actually, this is great for the blog, because I'll be uploading more artistic pictures and I'm extremely excited for that, I love photography!

And last but not least, I was hired by a modeling school to teach little girls "how to model" and secrets of the runway. This opportunity came for the great response of you (my readers) at my blog and I have to thank you for keeping me busy with the thinks that I love.

Now you can understand my mental state about all of this, and why I'm not jumping around all of the sudden, this is serious business and a lot of responsibility over my shoulders.

Last summer days

Before the fall rain starts flooding everything away I'm continuing my small weekend adventures at my town. What I like about this place is that if you look to one side it looks like CA and if you turn to the other side it looks like Italy, the perfect combination of places for me; My favorite places in the world!
I feel like there's a fine line between the old & new perspective of what this city is becoming, and I like that. Is not that I want everything to change but some overcoming didn't hurt anyone, right?
In the meantime is nice to see every little change to become part of us...

Roots

I've been wanting to upload a blog post since a really long time but I'm still struggling with internet conecctions and what not. I'm seriously upset with it because I freaking hate starting something and not being aviable to keep doing it as I want to.
Anyways, life hasn't changed a lot since my last post; The old same routine every day and I'm starting to feel more like a zombie/robot with no expectations about life. So I said enough with this mental crap (about three times before the "real" one) and I went for a little "tourist" walk on my town. I don't frequent these kind of places as much I want to, so for me every time I go there they seem to be a little different and is kind of like a mind re-freshner.
One of the things that I'm impressed by are there reading booths that I found during my walk, is the first time I see something like that in my city, because people aren't used to this kind of stuff; Most of  the time those books would have end up in the trash or stollen (what a shame!) but is the truth!
I love my country/state/city for so many reason but not for the lack of cultural teaching and interest of the people; The conception of art and cultural leraning are not in the customs of most of the families in here. There are a few groups in my town that are trying to improve this, and I think that this is a great begining...Let's hope for the best!

Well I guess I don't have a good relationship with my internet service...during last month I struggled with all things you can imagine but finally I'm here with a new post. 

I'm actually "stealing" the wifi at our community park right now, I kind of look like a crazy person because I'm sitting here with a table a chair and a PC at the park LOL All I have to do because I hate delaying my agenda and what not! Also my MacBook Pro is still damaged :(

Anyways you guys, this is one of my favorite outfits ever! I know is kind of simple but that's the way I like to dress...minimal.

Let's be honest for a moment in here...theres nothing better than looking like 1M dollars everytime you go out and the truth is that we all CAN! And I'm not talking about what brands you wear or how much money you spend on things (kind of ironic to say that on a fashion blog, huh? but keep reading), I'm talking about how you feel and portrait yourself and sometimes wearing cute/cool stuff that you really like makes us feel like gold. For me is wearing an statement piece, like this faux fur coat; It may not be céline or cavalli but hey! I look like a millionare and I feel like one too, and that isn't the goal?
